Xiaomi is pretty great, in my experience. But it's sad that you guys are maybe one of the last trusting people there are and people take advantage of that.

Thanks, what I am even more sad about is that idea of wanting something Danish rather than Chinese and not understanding that it isn't so. The wish for quality doesn't transform into a check for authenticity.

So, it is not so much about trust, more about a kind of spoiled attitude, expecting that the good things come without having to make an effort for it, without checking what is up and down in the story they tell about the product.

Then I find that it is better to look at what real qualities are in the products people buy, trying not to pay too much attention to the marketing and the brands, but actually checking the product itself before buying it.

Under those circumstances, when there are more possible product to choose from, it is perfectly okay to want the locally produced option, if there is one.

But I am, at the same time, happy to see that there can be a typical relation between shops and their customers that allow for taking things back if the customer regrets, thereby aiming for a happy, and possibly long-lasting, relationship.
